The imported wool is used to sort of "bridge the gap" between the fine, soft inner fibres and the long, glossy outer fibres of the icelandic wool. Loðband - 1 ply: 50 g balls. 50 g approx. 225 m. Loðband - 1 ply is used for knitting or crocheting shawls, scarves and other very lightweight garments. It can also be for crocheting doilies and other decorations.
