Festival on Skólavörđustígur

On Saturday, the 23. of October, stores and designers and other firms on Skólavörđustígur celebrated the first day of winter.
We at The Handknitting Assc. had borrowed several traditional triangles and shawls made from very fine handspun yarn from The National Museum and put them on display.
Sheep-farmers and Siggi Hall, a famous cook, offered visitors a traditional Icelandic soup made with the best lamb. It was delicious!!!
